HLTAID 009

HLTAID 009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
This course covers the primary survey, CPR and the legal, ethical and personal considerations when applying first aid. Generally required to be completed every 12 months.

HLTAID 011

HLTAID 011 Provide First Aid.
A jam-packed course covering everything in HLTAID009 as well as the most common conditions encountered as a first aider. The first half of the day covers CPR, and all things trauma such as bleeding, burns, head injuries, eye injuries, shock, splints and slings. In the afternoon we go through medical conditions such as heart attacks, stroke, asthma, anaphylaxis, seizures, diabetes, and environmental conditions. The course takes approx. 6 hours, and can be conducted in a single day, or over a few shorter sessions depending on your work requirements. This course needs to be renewed every 3 years.

HLTAID 012

HLTAID 012 Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting.
This course is designed for those working in early childhood or education but can be completed by anyone. It includes all aspects of HLTAID011, and builds on topics such as asthma and anaphylaxis, individual action plans and risk mitigation. This qualification needs to be renewed every 3 years.
$120 - Approx 7 hours

Non Accredited Courses

Specific non accredited courses currently offered include baby and child first aid or seniors first aid. These courses are great for mums’ groups, playgroups, community groups, or individuals. Gift vouchers can be provided. They make a great baby shower or post birth gift.
$45 pp, minimum 5 in a group. - Approx 2 hrs

Pocket Mask Training

Pocket mask training.
Mask training can be added to any of the above courses and will be printed on your certificate of completion. Course fee includes a mask for you to keep in your first aid kit.
Add $15 to any of the above courses.
